Areas of Practice
Motivation
Staying motivated throughout a tough season, during an injury, or in the off-season isn’t always easy. There are several types of motivation, but the most effective comes from inside. We work to figure out where your motivation comes from and how to tap into it when you need a boost.
Focus
Have you ever watched a game and noticed players looking zoned out during timeouts? Ever seen a team suddenly fall apart and thought “They just lost focus.”? We break down your game to figure out what you need to focus on, when to focus, and how to regain focus when you slip.
Confidence
Confidence is an essential component to peak performance. Mac Mental Performance helps build and maintain confidence so you are better equipped to manage the highs and lows of performance.
Road Blocks
It is not uncommon to experience road blocks or slumps during a season. During these slumps, our physical performance can influence our mental game and vice versa. Implementing mental skills training can help us overcome our slumps and prepare us for the next one.
Energy Management
Every athlete has a certain energy level they need to be at for peak performance. We identify what level you perform best at and how to get there prior to performing.
Edge mentality
At Mac Performance, we believe there is always room to improve. Even when we aren’t experiencing any road blocks or situations with our performance, we can still work on our mental game to gain an edge over our competition. That’s what Edge Mentality is all about. Here we take our performance to the next level.
